It can be used with multiple AWS resources such as Elastic Compute Cloud/EC2, Elastic Block Storage/EBS, and Elastic Load Balancers/EBS and it can also work with Relational Database/RDS.
It can check operational issues, application performance, how the resources are being used or any constraints. Therefore, it is very helpful for any organization to resolve any issues as soon as they arise. It is available in both free tier or paid tier of the AWS on a pay as use basis. In the free tier it does basic monitoring that has all the pre-selected options, providing output in every 3–5 minutes and the paid version it can provide detailed monitoring results in every 1 minutes with the additional resources.
