The increase in the use of IOT devices also has led to a rise in security incidents. These incidents not only affect the security of individuals devices but also large scale attacks that can cause significant damage.Let us discuss it in detail.

Need of AI in IOT Security Incident response

Manual analysis of logs and alerts generated by devices is not possible as it is a time consuming and slow process. It adds a delay in the responses to the security incidents as there is quite an increase in the IOT devices that generate a large number of volumes of logs and alerts.

AI will be helpful in automation and predication. AI can be used to automate the process of incident response by analyzing large volumes of data in real-time. It can identify patterns and anomalies that may indicate a security incident and alert the appropriate personnel. Additionally, AI can be used to identify the root cause of an incident and provide recommendations on how to remediate it. AI can also be used to predict and prevent security incidents by analyzing historical data and identifying trends that may indicate an attack is imminent. This can help organizations take proactive measures to prevent incidents before they occur.
