What is encryption?
Encryption is a method in which a user can convert information into scrambled data so that only authorized users can read that information. it can be used so that the message is not read by the intended recipients.
Encryption is not only limited to the internet but also we can use encryption techniques to encrypt the data on hard drives, mobile devices, or on computers. Some basic terms that have their own existence in security but also needed in “Encryption”. Such as:
- Authentication: only users who are authenticated to see the message can only read that message.
- Scalability: It shows how many persons can use the key, as if a large group of people can use the key and if the other users which are being added can also it means that the key is scalable.
- Effectiveness: What is the maximum amount of data that can be encrypted using the key and with which much time it is taking up in the encryption.
- Distribution: It shows how the keys can be distributed for communication.
